James Driscoll won the seven-figure sum playing the "Emeralds 50X" instant win game. He picked up his prize on Wednesday, Sept. 13, with his wife Peggy.
James decided to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 before taxes rather than the annuity.
He bought the winning ticket at the Mansfield Xtramart at 905 S. Main Street in Mansfield. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling it.
